HIS OWN is one of East Tennessee's premier Gospel quartets. Beginning as an "A Capella" quartet, HIS OWN has evolved throughout the years into one of the area's best known quartets. Throughout the years, the group has always maintained an original musical style that is quite unique, ranging anywhere from contemporary arrangements of old gospel hymns to the traditional style of Southern Gospel. What sets HIS OWN apart from the rest of the groups today is their willingness to minister to smaller congregations as well as larger venues.

HIS OWN consists of Mark Phillips, Bobby Nick, Chris Rupert and Chris Seigler. Mark sings baritone vocals and serves as the manager for the group. Bobby sings the bass vocals and also serves as the Minister of Music for Calvary Baptist Church in Alcoa, TN. Chris Rupert sings the tenor vocals while serving as Music Director at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Strawberry Plains, TN. Chris Seigler is the group's lead singer and brings several years of music and vocal experience to the quartet. He is also the Minister of Music at Second Chance Community Fellowship in Maryville, TN.

Each member is very excited about the opportunities the Lord has given HIS OWN and very much enjoys serving God with their gifts. Truly, His will is evident in this group and can be felt and heard as they lift up His name in song and testimony.
